Photographic Intervention at Casa Foa
Image transfer using acrylic gel onto the original wall of the former Alpargatas factory. I used photographs that document the work performed by the female employees—the very people who kept that place alive for so many years. The intention was not merely to bring the images into the space, but for them to take on the texture of the wall itself—the same wall that witnessed their daily lives and sustained the vitality of the place. The images absorb this texture and become embedded within the surface, much like a tattoo on skin—a trace of their time there. This intervention was created at Pacto Estudio.
